What we cover
CoinAndCents publishes explainers and news analysis across four beats: markets and Fed policy, personal finance and banking, tax and regulation, and crypto and digital assets. Every piece is written to be understandable without a finance background, while staying accurate enough to be useful if you do have one.
How we work
Articles are researched from primary sources where possible — Federal Reserve statements, government data releases, and rate-tracking services — and dated so you know exactly how current the information is. Figures like interest rates and savings APYs move constantly, so we note the "as of" date on anything time-sensitive.
What we're not
CoinAndCents doesn't sell financial products, and nothing on this site is personalized financial, tax, or legal advice. We aim to give you the context to ask better questions of your own advisor, accountant, or bank — not to replace them.
