1. Who we are
CoinAndCents ("we," "us," "our") publishes finance news, guides, and explainers at coinandcents.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you, including specific rights for visitors in the European Economic Area (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA).
2. Information we collect
- Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate location (derived from IP), collected via standard server logs and analytics tools.

We do not require account creation to read this site, and we do not knowingly collect more information than necessary to operate it.

6. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. 7. Children's privacy
CoinAndCents is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable under GDPR), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
8. Data retention and security
We retain server log and analytics data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
